Join us for a family friendly all ages dance party in Edmonton.

Playful Soul Sundays: A haven to move, connect and express!

Featuring: DJs, quiet and chill space, kids play area, animation to foster connection, play and movement, and food available for purchase onsite. Food provided by Drea Love's High Vibin' Eats and Steph Joy's Elemental Joys.

Vision statement: We believe play is a radical act of healing and wholeness.

Playful Soul Sundays is a homecoming — a space where hearts open, bodies move, and spirits remember the joy of simply being.

We gather in the name of connection, expression, and co-creation, where kids lead with wonder and adults remember their spark.

Here, we come as we are — bringing our joy, our mess, and our magic.

Through sound, movement, and shared nourishment, we co-create a rhythm of belonging — healing in joyful communion, and lighting up the world we want to live in from the inside out.

Connection – With ourselves, with each other, and with the land and space we gather on.

Authenticity (authentic expression - physical & emotional, sharing our hearts, and what’s alive within us, authentic sharing)

Play (playful expression and expansion through play, creating space/ opening a spaciousness within ourselves, and co-creating play with each other)

We believe in the magic of showing up as your full self and are committed to creating a community experience rooted in safety, inclusivity, respect, and play.

To support that vision, we ask that all participants agree to the following:

💖 Core Agreements

1. Come as you are. This is a judgment-free space. Whether you're feeling joyful, tender, introverted, or expressive — all of you is welcome here.

2. Respect all bodies, boundaries & expressions. Consent is key. Please ask before initiating physical contact or joining someone in their movement or play. A simple “May I join you?” goes a long way.

3. Co-create and celebrate. This is a participatory space. Everyone is invited to contribute to the magic — through movement, music, art, presence, or simply holding space with intention. We celebrate all expressions of you!

4. Be mindful of your impact. We all carry unique life experiences. Please be aware of how your words and actions may land for others, even if unintentionally.

5. Keep it family-friendly. Children and youth are welcome. Please ensure your language, music, attire, and behavior are appropriate for all ages.

6. Come sober, stay sober. We are cultivating presence and authentic connection. Please arrive sober and remain substance-free throughout the event.

7. Leave the space better than you found it. Clean up after yourself and support shared responsibility for our community environment.

8. Practice accountability & clear communication. If conflict arises, approach it with kindness and direct, compassionate dialogue. Seek resolution with an open heart. If needed, please reach out to an organizer for support.

9. Parents & guardians are responsible for their children. Please ensure their safety, wellbeing, and respectful engagement with others and the space.

10. Prioritize health & community care. If you’re feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness, we ask that you stay home to rest and recover. Many in our community are immunocompromised and depend on a safe and healthy environment.

11. May the playfulness be with you. Let joy, curiosity, and childlike wonder guide your day. Play is sacred. Let’s celebrate it together.

• Harmful, inappropriate, or non-consensual behavior will not be tolerated. You may be asked to leave if your behavior violates these agreements.
