Player of the Week Awards Banquet 2024-2025

To recognize the accomplishments of all the Players of the Week during the 2024-25 school year, the Statesboro Herald is holding its first-ever “Player of the Week Awards Banquet.” The event is scheduled for 6 p.m., Thursday, May 8 in the Perry Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church Statesboro.

All Players of the Week will receive a certificate honoring their selection. Also, a Boys Player of the Year and a Girls Player of the Year will be announced and a $500 scholarship will be awarded to each.

A buffet dinner will be served, followed by a keynote address from Bulloch County’s own Jeremy Mincey.
