play_station film festival

play_station Film Festival is a screening programme of moving image works, featuring three new commissions and six works total. This is the second iteration of this festival, this year being screened in Ōtautahi, Te Whanganui-a-Tara and Tāmaki Makaurau. It includes work from artists Tom Denize, Nā A.J. Manaaki Hope, Dilohana Lekamge, Quentin Lind, Christopher Ulutupu and Yumoi Zheng. Yumoi Zheng features in the Artspace Aotearoa Screening Room as part of the exhibition Permissions.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This event is free.This event will be held in the Kit, which can be accessed by the main gallery entrance or alternatively by our car park on 8 East St for assisted access.This location is accessible with assistance.Total runtime is approximately 50 minutes.Light refreshments will be provided.

play_station is an artist-run space in Te Whanganui-a-Tara established in 2016. Its current board members are Jamie Rhiannon Howse. Angel C. Fitzgerald and Max Fleury.
