About this Event
The museum's annual gala is essential to funding museum programming and expanding access to all children in our region. This special night will kick off with an award ceremony honoring Anne and King Milling and Tracy and Calvin Mackie with the inaugural Great Friend to Kids Award. This year’s theme is inspired by the beloved children’s classic, Goodnight Moon.
The Play Soirée will feature:
- Live music from Raw Deal, the New Orleans Soul Funk Party Experience.
- Jewelry raffle sponsored by Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry and silent auction featuring exciting highlights, including Pelicans and Saints game tickets
- Delectable cuisine by Dickie Brennan & Co. Catering & Events.
- A special patron party from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. (with patron ticket)
- A one-night only exhibit recreation of the Goodnight Moon's "great green room"
