Play Reading Series

Join us for a 4 week series including a weekly reading and discussion of both classic and contemporary plays led by a contemporary playwright. This month, we will be reading A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen.

Sarah Groustra is a Brooklyn-based, Massachusetts-born playwright, actress, and theatermaker. Sarah's work has been produced off-Broadway at the SheNYC Festival (winner, Best Script), the B Street Theater, The Chain Theater, Fishmarket Theater Company, and at additional regional theaters across the country. She was a finalist for the 2023 Jane Chambers Award, the recipient of the 2021 James E. Michael Playwriting Prize, and was named a 2022 Ascending Playwright by Yonder Window Theater Company. Sarah studied theater and English at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
