Orchestra Wellington presents Play me a Story, performed by Principal Trombone Peter Maunder and Principal Harpist Michelle Velvin. Featuring a unique combination of musical instruments from the orchestra alongside more well-known instruments like the guitar and recorder, this musical story is sure to delight and engage. Including familiar tunes and new compositions, this musical performance offers the opportunity for audiences to help compose their very own musical story as part of the programme!Come along and experience the lush and dreamy melodies of the orchestral harp, the stately and thrilling sounds of the trombone, and join the musicians on a journey of musical exploration as our musicians demonstrate the wide-ranging capabilities and sonorities of these instruments!
