Play Date: Parents’ Night Out: Holiday Recess

The kids are not the only ones who need to play.

Holiday Recess is a welcoming night out created for parents who want to relax, laugh and meet other local grown-ups who understand family life. Come alone, bring a friend or attend with your partner. Play Date hosts will make introductions so nobody has to work the room by themselves.

• $30 for one parent or $50 for two parents

• This is an adult social. Childcare is not provided.

WHAT HAPPENS

• 7:00 PM: Arrive, check in and settle in with music and playful name tags

• 7:30 PM: Hosted introductions and easy conversation prompts

• 8:00 PM: Holiday trivia and grown-up recess games

• 8:45 PM: Open social time, drinks, music and new connections

• 9:30 PM: Upcoming Play Date preview and contact exchange

• 10:00 PM: Event concludes

Drinks will be available for purchase directly from Station 1846. Please bring a valid photo ID.

This is not a singles event, couples event or business mixer. Married, partnered, divorced and single parents are all welcome. Dress holiday casual, arrive alone if you would like and expect Play Date hosts to help you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.
