Play, Connect, Dance lives on! Play, Connect, Dance was an event created and hosted by community member, Garrett Rokosh a few years ago, and was a day of utter magic! Brandon and Erica have continued the legacy of PCD in the years to follow, as the first one was so impactful for us both. If you went to the first one, you know what it's all about. If you don't know, then read on!We will start the day off with an acroyoga class, led by Erica and Brandon. Acroyoga allows us to get into our bodies, to play, laugh, trust and connect. This class will be aimed for beginners, but we will aim to have some challenges for more intermediate folk.
We will follow this up with an authentic relating session, led by Brandon. Get ready to dive deep and expand your comfort zone! We will begin with basic games to connect, then move into some communication exercises. We encourage people to honour where they are at, and participate to the extent that they have the capacity to (if that means saying no to some exercises, that's okay!).
We will close off with ecstatic dance! Ecstatic dance is a beautiful opportunity to move your body in ways that feel natural and authentic to you. It's a silent space, where you can communicate with others through body language, or can chose to go inward and have your own independent journey.
What to bring:
+ comfy clothing you can move in (snug fitting clothing works really well for acro)
+ something comfortable to sit on for the authentic relating exercises
+ water bottle for hydration
+ snacks and lunch! There is also a grocery store and a cafe downstairs.

We are also open to non-financial exchanges, for those in a financially limited position. Historically, I've seen people offer marketing, massages, dog walks, etc. Send us a DM and we can chat! We want to make it work for you!

10:15am - 11:45am: Acro time! With Brandon and Erica
11:45am - 12:15pm: Lunch break
12:15pm - 1:45pm: Authentic relating with Brandon
1:45pm - 2pm: Snack break
2pm - 3:30pm: Ecstatic dance
3:30pm - 4pm: Final thoughts, closing circle, community announcements
