Play & Healing: An Improv Therapy Series - Joy, Play & Authenticity
About this Event
Play & Healing: An Improv Therapy Workshop: Joy, Play & Authenticity
An experiential workshop reconnecting with fun, freedom, and the parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten.
Remember the version of you that knew how to play.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to become productive instead of playful. Careful instead of curious. Self-conscious instead of free.
This workshop is an invitation to reconnect with joy, embodiment, creativity, and authentic expression through improv-based play and experiential exercises.
Together we’ll explore:
• Play as nervous system healing
• Joy without productivity
• Authentic self-expression
• Letting loose and being present
• Reconnecting with spontaneity and aliveness
Expect movement, laughter, connection, reflection, and opportunities to step outside of your usual patterns in a supportive environment.
No improv experience needed.
Come as you are.
Each Improv Therapy Drop-In workshop explores a different theme and experience. While the structure and exercises change week to week, every session is rooted in connection, experiential play, nervous system awareness, and authentic self-expression.
Additional workshop topics in this series include:
• Getting Out of Your Head
• Connection & Loneliness
• Communication & Boundaries
• Confidence & Self-Trust
• Joy, Play & Authenticity
