Come join us for a fun and creative hand built ceramics workshop hosted by O-M Ceramics at beautiful flower shop Lenita in Highland Park. In this class, Carrie will teach you how to create beautiful and playful hand-built ceramic pieces. The workshop will cover various hand-building techniques, including pinch pots, coils, and slabs, allowing you to choose the method that best suits your design. The creative process is at the heart of this workshop; Carrie will guide you from sketching to constructing your own piece. By the end of the class, you might complete a pair of mugs, a vase, or some decorative objects. It will be a fun and mindful afternoon where we can spend time together and connect with the community at the beautiful Lenita. Also, everything smells so good there.

Perfect for beginners -- no prior experience needed.

All materials will be provided. We will have the option to choose between off-white clay and brown speckled clay. Basic white or clear speckles glazes will be provided to color your pieces by O-M Ceramics. We also can explore some other color options in the class.

What you'll get:

1-2 pieces will be made by each participants. All the works will be colored and fired by O-M Ceramics. Please allow 3-4 weeks for all the pieces to be produced.

All pieces will be ready and available for pick up at Lenita.
