Plates and Mates is a curated dinner series matching like-minded locals at Fort Wayne restaurants. Meet new people, try new spots, & enjoy great convos.

This is an intimate, curated dinner series that brings restaurant recommendations to life. It’s all about supporting local restaurants, discovering new places across the city, and meeting people who love trying new things just as much as you do.
Each dinner matches strangers with shared interests at one of our favorite local spots, turning solo plans into a night of discovery, delicious food, and great conversation.

• Complete a short profile about your interests
• We’ll seat you with people who share interests, so the conversation flows naturally from the start

It’s $10 to reserve your spot, which covers the curation and includes an appetizer for the table

All food and beverage orders during dinner are paid for individually.

• 6:00pm Arrive and find your table
• 6:00-7:30pm Dinner with your table
• 7:30pm Drinks at the bar with everyone (optional)

While Plates and Mates is not designed as a singles event, we know connections can happen anywhere. If someone at the experience, whether at your table or across the room, stands out to you, you’ll have access to view the guest list during the event only. You can add a heart next to their name, and if they do the same, you’ll both receive an email one hour after the event. But don't let the guest list deter you from asking for people's contact info during the event too. The guest list has everyone at the dinner, not just singles.

Draft Taproom & Coffee has been a dream of ours since 2019 with hopes of one day owning a taproom to highlight all of our wonderful clients! Well, here we are. DT&C is a place where you can enjoy many midwest/ local brews, wines, meads, ciders, coffees, teas, pastries and pizza! We want to highlight craft and almost act as a second location for our clients. The goal is for you to come enjoy something amazing, then, head on over to the source!
