About this Event
Are you conscious about what’s in your cleaning products and how it may affect your health and the environment? Join the Sunny Jar team and learn the joy of making your own natural cleaning products, reduce the use of toxic chemicals and live low waste!
In this relaxed and informal workshop, you will discover the many household uses of castile soap, bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar and take some samples home with recipes to make your products at home. You will be able to purchase some ingredients like bicarbonate of soda, soap flakes, bicarbonate of soda and soda crystals in bulk at very competitive price, so take some cash with you.
Making your own cleaning products will save you money, reduce packaging waste and is less harmful for your health and the environment. A perfect workshop to learn something new and share tips on low waste and sustainable living.

R-Urban Poplar is an eco-civic hub located on the edge of the Teviot estate, in Poplar, London.
The project aims to develop civic resilience in the face of climate change through a public programme of events, workshops and infrastructures. We have two main strands to our work, the first works towards prototyping a just food system which places circularity at its heart, the second focuses on resource re-use and repair.
Find out more about R-Urban and the amazing variety of workshops, events and volunteering opportunities we host by visiting our website.
