Plants into Pulp

The Press-Citizen's Ground Rules gardening column is about Jeanine Redlinger. Jeanine is a participant in Johnson County's Pocket Prairie Program who uses prairie plants to make paper. Jeanine will teach a Paper into Pulp workshop on Monday, Sept. 28, from 6:30-7 p.m. in the Heritage Barn at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

Hosted by Johnson County Master Gardeners, the workshop is limited to 24 people. Participants are asked to bring dried flowers to incorporate into their finished paper and two pieces of cardboard to class. Registration is required for this free program: https://go.iastate.edu/G1Y6QS.
