Craven CC's Early Childhood Educators (ECE) Club, in partnership with the Local Interagency Coordinating Council and Craven Early Learning Network, will host "Planting the Pinwheels," a community event dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children. This event will be held Thursday, April 3 at 11:30 a.m. outside by the secondary entrance of the New Bern campus.
In collaboration with Prevent Child Abuse America’s Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign, this event symbolizes the impact we each have on shaping positive childhood experiences. With the support of the ECE Club members, this initiative will not only raise awareness but also engage future educators and community members in meaningful discussions about child wellbeing. Small acts, strong communities, and supportive policies all contribute to a world where children can reach their full potential.
