About this Event

What is our call to participate in community? How can we bridge divides in our increasingly polarized world? How can we put our faith into action this election year?

Join Seeds of Justice Network and Sr. Simone Campbell, SSS, to explore Catholic Social Teaching around Family & Community Participation on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at St. Joseph's Academy Auditorium. This thought-provoking program will kick off a two-year series on Catholic Social Teaching. Let's plant the seeds for a more compassionate and just future together!

The SOJN "Planting Seeds" Series

This is the first program in Seeds of Justice Network's two-year series exploring the seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching: Family & Community Participation (Sept 2024), Solidarity (Feb 2025), Care for Creation (Apr 2025), Workers’ Rights (Sept 2025), Human Dignity (2026), Rights & Responsibilities (2026), and Concern for the Poor (2026).

Each community gathering will explore the theme theme through the lenses of our calling, the need, and opportunities for action. Some programs will be in-person and streamed, some will be virtual only.
