Sunday September 26th is the 4th Sunday of the month. Normally we would scatter and find ways to love and serve our neighbors rather than expect them to come to where we are. However, on this particular Sunday, we are gathering on the church property to plant some trees and beautify the grounds. We have lost multiple trees in the last couple years and we believe this is a time to plant new ones. You don’t plant trees for the moment, you plant them for the future, for others to enjoy. We have invited the Central Rim Neighborhood to join us as well! Our property is a gem in the middle of the neighborhood and we want to create more ways for this space to be a beautiful representation of the Kingdom on this small block. We will plant some trees, clean up the beds, spread bark and declutter some of our storage spaces.
What we need:
-Shovels, rakes, saws & wheelbarrows
-Team leaders who can coordinate digging holes, planting, trim bushes, dig up bushes, spread bark and clean out storage shed’s
-Trailers (3 or 4)
-Hospitality - allergic to yard work? Host a table with coffee and pastries! Hand out water and pray too!
