This time PLANT brings Youngg P - a Ukrainian DJ and producer from Kharkiv, now based in Ireland, exploring the outer edges of club music through DJ sets and hardware-based production. Drawing inspiration from minimal house, old-school techno, IDM, electro and experimental electronics, his sound embraces both the functional and the unexpected.
Having performed at venues such as Closer, Otel, Kultura Zvuka, Sveta Baar, Mezzanine and River Port, and as a member of the National Distortion collective, he has developed a style that moves freely between hypnotic grooves, machine funk, broken rhythms and leftfield curiosities.
Outside the club, he spends countless hours experimenting with synthesizers, drum machines and samplers, treating music-making as an ongoing process of discovery.
