Explore and have fun while making ink from leaves, berries, roots and nuts!
About this Event

Learn how to make plant-based ink in theis hands on workshop. Each student will learn how to extract color from specific plants and plant parts, then how to turn the resulting dye into ink. Ink can be used for painting or calligraphy. Preservation and lightfastness will be discussed. Each student will take home a .5oz bottle of ink. Participants might get ink on clothing, please wear an apron or clothes you don't mind getting dirty! Space is limited to 10 people.

Please park on the WEST side of Prairie St and be mindful to not block my neighbors' driveways!
