Plant Hope Dinner & Auction

Send Hope Now's Plant Hope Dinner & Auction 2022 will be a time to gather, share how Jesus is moving in India, and raise funds for the planting of a new church and community hub in the tribal region of Odisha. This special event includes a gourmet meal, an in-person visit from the leadership in India, and an auction. Come celebrate!

Ticket sales cover the costs of putting on this event so that ALL funds raised on October 7th go directly to the Odisha Project.

Odisha is an eastern Indian state of over 43 million people, best known for it's tribal cultures and ancient Hindu temples. Hindus make up the overwhelming majority of Odisha's population and Muslims make up the largest minority. Only 2% of the people living in Odisha are Christian and those who are believers face heavy opposition and persecution.

This project will plant a community hub with a brand new church, home for children, and safe space for various outreach projects to take place. It will provide our team in India with the opportunity to train up new pastors and leaders who will begin their own ministries within the region. Community outreach projects, such as the widow assistance and feeding families programs, are the best way for our pastors to not only help those in need, but also share Jesus with those who do not know Him.

Where do I park at the event?

Parking is available in the parking lots on-site. "No Parking" signs must be observed, parking on grass is not permitted.

How formal is the attire?

We strongly encourage you to dress your best in semi-formal attire. However, you may come as formal as you'd like. Please, no jeans.

Is there an age limit to attend?

We love children; however, we ask that only those older than 13 attend this event. Thank you for understanding.

Can I reserve a table?

Yes! Tables seat 10 people. If you have a party of 10 and want to reserve a table, please reach out to our Event Coordinator, Haley, at [email protected] or 208-509-4516.

What will the auction be like?

There will be both a silent auction and live auction at this event.

What will dinner be like?

Dinner will be served by the Spurwing catering team. Your choice of meal is requested with each ticket registration. At the event, we will provide you with a dinner card that has your name on it.

Will alcohol be served or available for purchase?

Alcohol will not be served at this event.

Are there any COVID-19 restrictions?

Masks are not required. However, we respect any guest's personal choice to wear one.

I can't attend, but can I still give to help plant churches?

Absolutely! You may give online at www.sendhopenow.org to the "Designated Projects Fund" or send checks to Send Hope Now, P.O. Box 190942 Boise, ID 83719.
