September Craft Nights at The Craft Room 🎨
We're spending September getting progressively spookier at The Craft Room in Sheridan! Join us every Wednesday at 6 PM for a different creative night with Kiln Creations.
Every event is $36 per person, with all the supplies and instruction you need included. Come for your favorite—or make Wednesday night your craft night and join us for all five.
🌿 September 2 — Plant Bingo
Part bingo night, part plant party, part excuse to yell BINGO in public.
We'll play rounds of bingo with plant-themed prizes up for grabs throughout the evening. Your $36 ticket includes painting a planter plus your bingo games and chances to win. Bring your lucky streak and your favorite plant person.
🔮 September 9 — Your Pet as a Familiar (Canvas)
Your pet has been keeping secrets. We're going to find out what they are.
Send us a clear photo of your animal exactly as you'd like to paint them, and we'll prepare a tracing to help you recreate them. Then the magic begins! Add a witch hat, wings, moons, stars, mushrooms, bats, sparkles, mist and other magical details using our collection of easy tracing elements.
Turn your cat into a witch. Give your dog fairy wings. Make your guinea pig an all-powerful uni-guinea. We don't judge.
🧙 September 16 — Create Your Own Cauldron
Start with clay and create a cauldron worthy of whatever questionable potion you've been brewing. You'll build and customize your own ceramic cauldron, adding feet, handles and details like bubbling potions, mushrooms, moons, stars, bones, eyeballs, vines and more. We'll show you how to construct and securely attach your pieces, then add color before your cauldron heads back to Kiln Creations for firing.
Perfect later for candy, crystals, trinkets, tiny plants or ingredients we're better off not knowing about. We'll paint them for you from a menu of 4 glazes, or come to the studio to paint your own.
🖼️ September 23 — Retro Halloween Portrait Plate
We're bringing back the wonderfully weird Halloween portraits of yesteryear. Choose from our collection of retro Halloween characters and use our tracing techniques to transfer your favorite onto a ceramic plate. Think vintage witches, black cats, jack-o'-lanterns and the slightly unsettling Halloween illustrations that look like they came directly out of someone's attic. We'll paint them in all their nostalgic glory, then take your plate back to Kiln Creations to glaze and fire.
September 30 — K-Pop Demon Hunters Derpy Tiger (Canvas)
We're ending September with the chaotic teal creature who has absolutely no business being this lovable. We'll walk you step-by-step through painting your own Derpy Tiger-inspired canvas, complete with his giant eyes, stripes, suss sidekick, and deeply questionable facial expression.
No drawing experience necessary—we'll make this one approachable even if your current artistic specialty is stick people.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Clay and ceramic classes are returned to The Craft Room the following week.
