This hands-on plant based and protein rich cooking class delivers on its promise: from protein-rich lentils to colorful vegetables, you will learn to cook with confidence and enjoy a balanced plate. Chef and owner Anne Milneck will guide you through knife skills and cooking techniques including high-heat roasting, moderate heat braising and no heat prep - like hummus! Anne, Megan and Jessica will debunk the myth that you have to choose between healthy eating or tasty food. It's both/and! You'll learn healthy eating can taste so very delicious.
ON THE MENU:
Hummus topped with Roasted Nuts & Zahtar
Stuffed Rainbow Peppers with Couscous, Spiced Chickpeas and Herbs
Rice Noodle Vegetable Stir Fry with Tofu
Moroccan Roasted Cauliflower with Garlicky Quinoa
Butternut Squash and Lentil Curry
This class is for participants 16 and up. Teenagers must be accompanied by an adult; both the teenager and accompanying adult must purchase a class seat.
CLASS TRANSFER POLICY: No Refunds. If you are unable to attend this class, you may request a transfer to move your reservation to another class. However these requests must be received seven (7) working days in advance of the class date. If your request is made after seven (7) working days, we will not be able to accommodate your transfer request. You may, however, pass along your place in this class to another person. Planning and staffing takes place well in advance of each cooking class; therefore, we are unable to offer refunds.
