Saturday 14th and 28th – “Plant and Pollinator Walk” – 9:00 AM -Join a ranger and come celebrate Canaveral’s many native plant and pollinator species. Visitors of all are encouraged to participate. Guests are encouraged to download the iNaturalist App on your smart device before attending. With the iNaturalist App, you can snap a picture of any pollinator or pollinator-friendly plant, and the community will help identify the species. Make sure to bring plenty of water and sun protection, closed toed shoes are recommended. Meet at the Visitor Center. (1 hour) PLEASE NOTE: all programs are subject to cancellation and/or rescheduling due to staff limitations, weather conditions, or other factors. Some programs require reservations, a minimum age, or a cost-recovery fee. Call 386-428-3384 ext. 0 for program information during operating hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). All programs meet the requirements for the Canaveral National Seashore Junior Ranger program.
