Planning for Emergencies and Disasters in Child Care

Child care providers play a critical role in keeping our children safe. Recently, California has been impacted by many natural disasters. Are you prepared for the next one?
In this training, we will focus on evacuation, sheltering in place, disaster drills, communicating with parents and Licensing, and helping children cope. We will focus on taking it one step at a time in getting prepared, so you and your staff feel more self-assured, and the children feel safe.We will also have a free raffle to help you begin building your Emergency Kit with several available items. 1. Children are not allowed at this training for safety purposes.
2. Arrive on time. The doors will be locked at 9:15am.
3. This training will be presented in English.
