About this Event

Planning and Reflection help youth build their critical thinking skills, apply what they've learned and fit their current experience and learning into the context of their prior knowledge.

This interactive workshop provides practical and fun tools for engaging young people in the Plan-Do-Reflect learning process. It focuses on establishing clear, comprehensive plans at the beginning of an activity and reflecting on the results and process after the activity has been completed.

Registration Details

Registration is open for this event until it fills up or until two days before the workshop.

This workshop is limited to 20 participants. We will have a waiting list that we'll use to both fill spots that open up and also help plan our future workshop topic schedule.

Each participant will be provided with a workbook to use during the training and keep and receive a certificate of completion via email afterwards.

Location & Accessibility

This workshop will take place at CoLab18, which is on the main level inside Nova Place at 100 South Commons, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 (on the Northside).

There is an entrance to the Nova Place Concourse at the corner of South Commons and Federal Street, across from the Post Office. There is an accessible ramp at this entrance.

If you come by car and park in the garage, there are elevators in the garage.

More details about navigating this location and transportation are in the FAQ below.

Boxed Lunches

Boxed lunches will be provided to registered attendees at the end of the workshop. Folks are welcome to take their lunches to go or to continue conversation with one another over lunch in the workshop space.
