Visitors will be. able pick any length of stay from one day to a whole week to join us in Portland during a time of extreme placemaking.
* June 9, 10 and 11th - Assembly, Portland State University's Social Practice Art Annual Exhibition will take place over 3-days at KSMoCA (Kings School Museum of Contemporary Art), an elementary school that's also a a contemporary art museum run by the students.
* June 10-17 - City Repair Project's Village Building Convergence is a resident-led placemaking festival that featuring intersection painting, re-wilding, natural building, permaculture and performance. Each day includes tours, work projects and evening lectures and performances.
* We'll explore topics and places that most interest you during your stay. Topics might range from Transportation, Freeway Removal, Neighborhood Identity and Culture, Gentrification Issues, Placekeeping, Maker movement, Adaptive Reuse, Creative Economy, Nightlife, Tourism, Street Painting, Historic Preservation, Policy Review, Waterfronts, Parks and Green Spaces, Equity/Inclusion, Sustainability, Community Engagement and Agency, Housing, Local Food/Permaculture, Retail Districts, Micro-entrepreneurialism, Pattern Language, New Urbanism.

PlacemakingUS will be in Portland for a long span this Spring and we are inviting others to join us in 1-Day pass increments. You can purchase as many day passes as you want: 1 Day, 3 Day or the Full Week. After you purchase your passes, we'll get in touch with you about your arrival and departure days. You can buy passes for more than one person on the same order (for example: 2 people x 3-Day Pass = 6-Day Passes).
