About this Event

The inaugural Perth Korean Film Festival brings five exceptional films to Perth for a weekend of premium Korean screen culture in an intimate boutique cinema.
Honouring the past, embracing the present and inspiring the future, the festival celebrates the richness of Korean storytelling and the power of cinema to connect us.
A cultural bridge between South Korea and Australia, it brings audiences together through shared stories and fresh perspectives, building a partnership that drives culture forward.

In Salmokji: Whispering Water, a filming crew visits a remote reservoir after a mysterious figure appears in street-view footage. A routine assignment turns into a nightmare when they encounter something lurking in the dark waters.
