Any/all University High School students can meet and discuss politics with various local civic servants over pizza at this afterschool program hosted by our youth librarians at University High School.This monthly civics engagement program will meet again on Thursday, JANUARY 12 at 3:00 pm. Teens will get to meet and talk with Arpan Lobo, a political journalist with the Detroit Free Press.
This program is for UHS students only.
Arpan Lobo covers politics and government for the Detroit Free Press. A metro-Detroit native, Arpan previously worked as a reporter at the Holland Sentinel in Holland, Mich., and the Capital Journal in Pierre, S.D. He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and a proud first-generation American. Arpan is also a huge fan of his hometown Detroit Pistons and his favorite football team, Liverpool F.C.
