The Original Cottage Inn & The Cellar are bringing a monthly comedy show. This month we are hosting these incredible local, regional, and national comedians Cam "Big Fella" Rowe, Pat Sievert, and Meghan Nyeste.

Tickets are available for $20 individual, $30 for 2 tickets, or $60 for 4 tickets. There is a two-drink minimum.

David Dyer Van Slooten has been performing stand-up at comedy clubs, theatres, and corporate events for over twenty-five years. He’s worked with some of the best comics in the industry including Mike Birbiglia, Jim Breuer, and Lewis Black. He’s been a contributing writer to NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “ABC’s Politically Incorrect”. He’s a frequent guest on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show” and often appears on the roster for their “Friends of The Bob and Tom Show” comedy tour. He has as DryBar Comedy Special called “Further Along than Anyone Expected” with over 1 million views. At the age of 49, David became a Paid-On-Call Firefighter with Grand Rapids Township Fire Department and at the age of 53, became a Full-Time firefighter with that same department. In November of 2021, he had the honor of being a presenter at the prestigious TEDx Detroit event where he spoke about his careers in both comedy and the fire service.

Darnell Anderson is making his rounds through the Mid-West. He is influencing a wide range of audiences with laughter. With a sly grin and raised eyebrow, he surprises audiences with wit and misdirection leaving them in stitches. His material comes straight from his life with a nice mixture of storytelling and set-up-punch style comedy. The audience will share some intimate, honest moments as Darnell reveals his perspective on his past relationships, life mistakes and other random subjects."

Scott Sviland Originally from Escanaba in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Scott is a newcomer to the Detroit scene. Winner of the Catawba Island Comedy Competition and runner up to the Crumbly Cup Comedy Competition, Scott has been on stages all over the Midwest and Canada. A regular at the Independent Comedy Club, Scott is known as “Detroit’s New Laugh Track”. With his upbeat personality, funny anecdotes, and fast delivery, Scott will be sure to leave you laughing.
