Event Description

Today’s educational landscape is changing fast, and many families are feeling the pressure especially those raising and supporting Black and Brown students. Preparing Your Student for a New Day is an evening of honest conversation, real talk, and practical tools for parents, caregivers, and educators who want to sustain students’ well-being and success from high school into college and beyond. We begin with a casual book signing and light refreshments from 6:00–6:45 p.m., followed by a facilitated conversation and Q&A from 7:00–8:30 p.m.

Hosted by Yetunde Daniels Rubinstein of , Dr. Christopher Dennis of , and Tim Fields of , this gathering will explore how we pivot our perspectives on achievement, redefine what “success” looks like, and show up for students in ways that honor their full humanity not just their résumés.
