About this Event
The Polish Cultural Council (PCC)is sponsoring our annual Polish Film Festival this October and November promoting Polish culture through cinema. This year we have procured two 2023 Gdynia Polish Film Festival statuette winners including Jan Holoubek’s “Doppelgänger. The Double” winner of six statuettes and Kinga Dębska’s “Feast of Fire” winner of three statuettes. Our repertoire of ten films will premiere new releases including a documentary and, “in memoriam” retrospective of Jerzy Stuhr films. This great, renowned Polish actor, director and writer who passed in July, attended and spoke at one of our past festivals leaving an indelible impression and fond memories for the Pittsburgh community. Two prominent film locations, the Harris Theatre and the Row House Cinema, will screen the films. Visit the Theater websites for online ticket purchases.
