Pittsburgh International Student Hiring & Talent Retention Convening

Pittsburgh companies are in competition for talent, and foreign talent is a large piece of the population graduating from our region’s universities and colleges. By attracting and retaining foreign nationals, Pittsburgh companies are becoming more diverse and inclusive, able to grow and scale, and ultimately, are more productive and successful.

This convening's objective is to bring together a panel of employers hiring international talent, universities/colleges with higher populations of international students, and experts working in the global immigration law and mobility field.

These experts will outline how we as a region can think creatively about their approach to talent recruitment among international talent. They will break down how employers can navigate immigration policies and procedures, particularly due to the employment sponsorship process.
