About this Event

Love is everywhere this Pride Month — and your single friend deserves to find theirs.

Pitch Your Friend is the most fun you'll have at a singles event, period. No awkward apps, no swiping, no cringe-worthy icebreakers — just you, a slideshow, and the chance to hype up your favourite single friend in front of a room full of amazing people.

We're closing out Pride Month the only way we know how — with laughter, good drinks, great energy, and the one and only Hollywould Star bringing the house down with two live performances on the night.

Whether you're pitching, being pitched, or just there to sip your welcome drink and watch the magic unfold — there's a place for you here. This event is open to all genders, orientations, and relationship goals. Love comes in every form, and so do we.

Age Restriction: 20-40

How it works:

🎤 Pitchers get up to 5 minutes on stage to sell their single friend to the crowd via a fun slideshow presentation

💌 Contact details go up on screen after all pitches so the crowd can shoot their shot

🥂 Mingle, connect, and let Hollywould keep the vibes going till the very end

🎤 Want to pitch your friend? Pitcher registration is completely free! Simply email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Pitch Your Friend — [Your Name]" and include:

• Your name and contact details
• Your friend's name and confirmation that they are aware and have consented to being pitched
• A brief description of your friend (we'd love to know a little about them!)
• Your pitch deck (to be submitted prior to the event — deadline June 22)

Once registered, we'll send you our full presenter guidelines, including:

Pitch Requirements:

1. Use a shareable online presentation format. Your pitch must be submitted as a browser-based, shareable link such as Google Slides or Canva. The link must open without requiring sign-in and be set so anyone with the link can view.
2. Keep it positive! This is NOT a roast. This event is to promote your friend in a positive and fun way with the goal of helping them make a new connection!
3. Keep it clean. Please refrain from including nudity or inappropriate imagery.
4. Keep it about them! Presentations are meant to be about the friend being pitched, not the presenter.
5. Keep it under 5 minutes! Be imaginative but keep your pitch within your allotted stage time. We recommend clearly stating your friend's preferred pronouns, sexual orientation, and age.
6. Your friend must be informed, consent, and be in attendance. They must be aware and consent to being pitched.
7. Make sure your last slide has the required information. The final slide should feature a picture of your friend along with their contact information (Instagram, phone number, etc.). This slide will remain displayed between pitches and during the mingling portion of the evening.
8. Let us know if plans change. Since spots are limited to 15, please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel so we can open your spot for someone else.
