Pitch It To Me: One Minute Special

Practicing your pitch is crucial to your business journey: it sharpens the ability to concisely and persuasively communicate your ideas, vision, and value proposition to potential investors, partners, and customers. A polished pitch not only captures attention but also instills confidence, ultimately increasing the likelihood of securing funding, partnerships, and business opportunities.

That's why we've created Pitch it to Me - a casual evening of pitching to your peers, with the opportunity to receive feedback from an expert judging panel.

And, this evening, we're running a One Minute Special - challenging participants to summarise their pitch in 60 seconds or less...are you up for the challenge?

Don't forget, this event is also a great chance to learn about local startups/ventures in the local area and meet like-minded folk.

Pitchers will have a few minutes each to talk about their startups, and show the audience what they are working on. The audience will then have the chance to ask questions and the judges will provide their feedback, before voting on their favourite pitch.

This will be followed by space for networking.

Come prepared to ask questions, and join in with the other attendees and pitchers!

Join us as an audience member - Listen, learn, and discuss the innovative ideas and projects of local entrepreneurs in the Scottish tech startup scene. You'll also get the chance to vote for the business that you would be most likely to invest in.

We will also have some Pitcher spaces reserved for signups on the night, so there's always a wildcard possibility!

This event will take place from 5.30-8pm Thursday 21 November 2024 at CodeBase, 37a Castle Terrace, EH1 2EL.

The event is open to everyone.

We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend, this will allow us to prevent food waste by avoiding over-catering. Please cancel your ticket if you are no longer able to attend.

We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend.
