This is an incredible workshop that will not only help you practice the art of pitching but will also provide you with brand-new ideas for whatever you're working on.
*PITCH GROUP IS FREE FOR It's $60/year to pay and you get free workshops, community events, and all paywalled posts, so it's a good deal. .
Here’s how it works:
- We review pitching guidelines
- Each writer takes turns explaining their problem/idea, after which they get 20-25 minutes to hear pitches on it from me and the rest of the group
- The ideal environment to improve your pitching, which is a crucial skill in every writer’s room or creative collaboration
- People leave feeling creatively reinvigorated, with tons of new actionable ideas. It's so useful and inspiring!
- Never more than 6 people per session

- Novel, memoir, and non-fiction book ideas
- Various TV pilots at different stages with various problems presented
- A pitch deck for a short film
- Newsletters (pitched on ideas for paying subscriber benefits)
