Pistol Cleaning Class - July 23rd
Proper firearm maintenance is essential for safety, reliability, and longevity. This hands-on class teaches students how to safely inspect, clean, lubricate, and maintain their pistol to ensure optimal performance.
Students will learn:
Safe firearm handling procedures during maintenance
How to field strip and reassemble their pistol
Identification and function of major firearm components
Proper cleaning techniques for the barrel, slide, and frame
Selecting and using cleaning tools, solvents, and lubricants
Inspection of common wear points and potential issues
Recommended maintenance schedules and storage practices
Tips for improving reliability and extending the life of your firearm
This class is designed for both new and experienced firearm owners who want to gain confidence in maintaining their pistol. Students are encouraged to bring their unloaded pistol and owner's manual for hands-on instruction and guided practice.
Equipment Requirements:
Unloaded pistol - NO AMMO allowed in building
Owner's manual (if available)
Safety glasses

By the end of the course, students will have the knowledge and practical skills needed to properly clean, inspect, and maintain their firearm with confidence.
