Pirn Pop Up Campsite - 2023 UCI World Champs Glentress Official Campsite
About this Event
In the heart of the Tweed Valley you will find Nether Pirn & West Bold Farm. Our family have been running our dairy, beef, sheep and cereal farm since the 1950’s and this summer we are opening our doors (or gates perhaps) for a pop up campsite, as the official campsite of the UCI Cross Country World Championships at Glentress.
We will host tents, vans and motorhomes for 10 days running from the 4th of August to the 13th of August.
We will provide basic services, including portaloo style toilets, as well as limited showering facilities and waste disposal tanks for motorhomes. Our site will have catering options to purchase coffee, breakfast and more. As well as a common area for guests to gather, sociailise and relax.
We would like to stress this is a pop-up campsite, so unfortunately there are no electric hook ups or charging facilities.
We are in a great location with a 7 minute cycle to the centre of Innerleithen, 4 minutes cycle to local trails, 30 minute cycle to Glentress Forest or a 25 minute walk to the free shuttle bus to the event.
