Hosted by our kids booksellers and North Carolina authors Darren Farrell and Ashley Belote, you'll sail the seas, walk the plank, and have a swashbuckling good time!
Space is limited and registration is required for each child. The party is recommended for children ages 5 - 8. Costumes encouraged!
ABOUT THE FEATURED AUTHORS
ASHLEY BELOTE is the author-illustrator of Witch & Wombat, The Me Tree, and Listen Up, Louella. She also illustrated picture books like Frankenslime and Valenslime. Ashley studied traditional animation under the direction of Don Bluth. She also serves as the regional illustrator coordinator for the Carolinas chapter of SCBWI.
DARREN FARRELL is an award-winning children's book author and illustrator. His book Thank You, Octopus was an NPR and HuffPost best book of the year. His is the author of Dandelion Magic and give this book away. Darren has been featured in the the Wall Street Journal, on NPR, and in HuffPost and lives in North Carolina.
