Since winning the prestigious 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Piper & The Hard Times has quickly become one of the hottest acts in blues and roots music. Their debut album, Revelation, released in August 2024, reached #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, earned worldwide radio play, and landed on numerous “Best of 2024” lists. In 2025, the band was honored with the Blues Music Award for Best Emerging Artist and recognized by The Blues Foundation for Top Independent Album.
Known for their electrifying live performances and standing-ovation shows, Piper & The Hard Times have appeared at major festivals including the WC Handy Fest, Big Blues Bender, and Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. The band’s core members — Al “Piper” Green, Steve Eagon, and Dave Colella — have spent over 20 years crafting their powerful blend of blues, roots rock, soul, and gospel-infused music, joined by Amy Frederick on keyboards and Parker Hawkins on bass.
