Public, private, and charter schools, homeschool families, and other educational groups are welcome!
Admission and Registration
Admission is $8 per person - student or chaperone.
Children under age 4 are admitted free. Free parking. Wheelchair accessible.

About the Field Trip
Step back in time and experience Florida’s pioneer history! Students will participate in a self-guided tour through a series of living-history stations highlighting life in Florida from 1845 to 1945.
Stations may vary. A complete list will be available during the week before the event. Stations typically include:
Trilby Train Depot and 1913 H.K. Porter No. 3 steam engine
Lacoochee One-Room Schoolhouse
Enterprise Methodist Church, built in 1905
1860s John Overstreet House
Vegetable garden and washboard laundry
C.C. Smith General Store
Mabel Jordan Barn featuring tractors, wagons, and buggies
Blanton Citrus Packing Plant
Blacksmith and woodworking shops
Re-enactors dressed in period clothing or uniforms and portraying historical characters
Lunch and Concessions
Food, drinks, and snacks will be available for purchase at the Museum concession stand. The concession stand is cash only; credit cards are not accepted.
Guests are also welcome to bring lunch and picnic on the Museum grounds.
Important Reminders
Students and children must be chaperoned at all times—no exceptions.
No smoking or pets are permitted.
Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Sunscreen and sneakers or closed-toe shoes are recommended.
