What to Expect: During each class, you'll be guided through the steps to create beautiful, on-trend crafts. From personalised keepsakes like handprint canvases and footprint ornaments to adorable nursery decor and baby milestone art, every project is carefully curated to be both baby-friendly and visually stunning. The class is designed to accommodate little hands and feet, making it easy for families to create something beautiful together.

Who Should Attend: This class is perfect for all babies who are not yet mobile. If you love crafting and want to create stylish, memorable pieces then this is the class for you. No crafting experience is required—just a passion for creativity and quality time with your baby.

Class Details:

• Duration: 1.25 hours per session 6 week block
• Materials: All crafting supplies are provided. Just bring your creativity and your little one!
• What to Wear: Comfortable, casual clothes that can handle a little paint.
• Where: Classes are held in the Lady Hertford Suite which is accessed via the court yard opposite the ampitheatre. There is a pram park just inside the panneled glass doors and the classroom is to the right.
• Travel: Parking: There are many car parks at Temple Newsam, the closest is a pay and display just beside the house (other car parks are free) all are a walk so bringing a carrier and/or pram is essential.

Your Instructor

Hannah Merrill is a passionate and accomplished artist with over 20 years of experience in painting and art education. Hannah has developed a unique style that combines the female perspective on the environmental crisis with her deeping emotive brush strokes to tell folk lore stories about mother nature and parenthood.

A graduate of Manhattanville, a university in New York, Hannah has exhibited work all over the world and is currently represented by Coles gallery in Leeds. Throughout her career, Hannah has been dedicated to sharing their love of painting with others, believing that art is a powerful tool for self-expression, personal growth, and mental wellness.

As an art instructor, Hannah brings a warm, encouraging, and patient approach to teaching. She has been guiding students of all levels—from complete beginners to seasoned artists—through the creative process for over 20 years. Hannah's classes are known for being fun, casual, inspiring, with a focus on helping each student find their unique artistic voice.
