Pinocchio: A Family-Friendly Puppet Show at Café Bauli
About this Event
In the story, Pinocchio sells his schoolbook to buy a ticket to a puppet show.
Ours is free. We'd rather you kept the schoolbook.
On Saturday, September 26, Café Bauli turns the back of the shop into a very small theatre for Stories from Italy: Pinocchio: thirty minutes of the wooden boy who couldn't stop lying, adapted for children by professional puppeteers. Funny, gentle, and pitched at every age, including the ones still working out how to sit still.
The Bauli family started baking in Verona in 1922. A hundred and four years later their bakers are on Broadway, and Italy's most famous stories have come with them.
Afterwards, stay for a Minuto Bauli: our iconic Italian sweet bun, finished and filled to order, always served warm. In Italy, four o'clock is a meal. We'd encourage you to observe the custom.
