Pinocchio (1940) Movie Screening: Presented by Locust Street Art

Join us on January 23rd for a special screening of Walt Disney's Pinocchio (1940). Our animation team will introduce the film and share about the historical significance of the movie. Guests are welcome to stay after the film for a discussion on themes, animation styles, artistic choices, and more!

This movie screening is Pay What You Can. Popcorn and Hot Chocolate will be available to purchase before the screening!

"Disney reached the height of hand-drawn animation with Pinocchio. Buoyed by the success of Snow White, the studio spared no expense, pouring nearly twice as much money into the film. Though it was a critically acclaimed box-office disappointment on its release, Pinocchio endures as Disney’s crowning artistic achievement—a testament to ambition, craft, and faith in the power of animation."

Locust Street Art is located in a historic building with eight steps to access our main entrance. A side entrance is available for students with limited mobility—this entrance has four steps to access our main hallway. We are currently fundraising to make our building more accessible.
