And the Pinkerton Pendlebury band features a stellar lineup: Sherry Rich (The Grapes), Steve Hadley (Tex Perkins) and Jason Kain (Jackson Code).
They play songs from their self-titled debut album (“a beguiling collection of sophisticated pop, its songs ambitious in scope but rendered timeless by the pair’s inherent chemistry and impeccable delivery”, according to Rhythms magazine), as well as a selection of Sports classics.
Expect encounters with famous Aussies (‘Smithy’), tales of true crime (‘Molly Dean’), legends of logic and science (‘Newton’s Theory’) and unbelievable Aussie yarns (‘Angry Penguins & Ern Malley Hoax’). As well as the timeless Pendlebury co-writes, including ‘How Come’, ‘Don’t Throw Stones’, ‘Reckless’, ‘Live Work & Play’ and ‘Who Listens To The Radio’.
