Pink Walk 2026: Stepping Against Breast Cancer
About this Event
Pink Walk @ John Slidell Park
About This Event
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and on Saturday, October 24, Glad Tidings Seventh-day Adventist Church will hold a dynamic church service, followed by a walk for awareness in John Slidell after church!
Most of us know someone who has faced breast cancer. Some of us have faced it ourselves. This walk is our chance to stand next to them. We'll recognize the survivors who are with us, pray for the ones still in treatment, and remember the ones we've lost.
"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Romans 8:37
The walk is free and open to anyone. Bring your family, bring a friend, and wear as much pink as you can.
When you sign up, you can give a $15 donation, order a Pink Walk T-shirt for $15, or both. You can also tell us who you're walking for. If you're walking for yourself or for someone you love, we'd like to know their name so we can pray for them by name that day.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Walk at whatever pace works for you.
If you have questions, contact Ebony Smith at 225-400-8208. Text preferred!
