Join Moth Studios this December… An EXTREMELY rare and intimate event awaitsThe Pink Spirit Moon Moth preservation workshop.
in this workshop you will discover the basics of preparing, setting & preserving a series of amazing specimens.
You’ll learn how to pin butterflies before moving onto the stunning Pink Spirit Moon Moth (Actias rhodopneuma), an extremely rare specimen and a sought after moth of entomologists. The male is a spectacular mix of pink and yellow colourations that will have you amazed at its all natural beauty.
ALL curious creations you preserve get to come home with you - and last forever!
Each ticket includes:
3 hour workshop with taxidermist Sherene Scott
Your very own preserved Pink Spirit Moon Moth to proudly display at home
Your own preserved set of enchanting butterflies to take home
Homemade hot mulled wine. (Tea, coffee & water also available)
Complimentary vegan mince pies (because everything is better seasonal sweet treats)
A fun, encouraging safe space to meet like-minded souls! A nice social event for the festive season
