Bullying often makes people feel alone, but Pink Shirt Day shows that many people care.Pink Shirt Day is a global day that celebrates diversity and creates environments where all people can feel safe, valued and respected. Each year, workplaces, schools, organisations and individuals join the movement to make a stand against bullying.
Pink Shirt Day is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting positive social relationships. This day has been celebrated in New Zealand since 2009 and the campaign grows stronger and larger every year. At Oxford Crescent School we support this message.
Feel free to wear a pink shirt to school on this day if you have one.
