Pink Ribbons & Pearls: Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser

We invite you to our fundraising event dedicated to raising funds and educating the community about breast cancer. Bring your family, friends and neighbors. We’ll have panels, presentations, games and opportunities to take home prizes.

There will be several opportunities for you to donate for the cause at this event. You can even take part in a spin to win where you donate a certain amount and be able to win prizes! Survivor Panel

Hear from our panel of breast cancer survivors about their experiences during treatment, life beyond treatment and their advice for people newly diagnosed.

Information and Awareness

Collect brochures and information from The American Cancer Society, Cancer Services Program of Queens, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. and more!

Presentation

Hear from Health Educator, Maureen Burns, from the Cancer Services Program of Queens as she presents information about the signs, symptoms, risk factors and the recommended screening guidelines of breast cancer.

Memory and Honor Wall

Honor your friends or loved ones by writing notes of reflection and rememberance.

Kids Korner

Children are welcome at this event. There will be games and activities such as bean bag toss, jenga, coloring and the opportunity to decorate cards and letters for current cancer patients.
