🧡 10 APR | Laryssa Kim (M/House of Jazz)
An artist who has seized the precious ability to synthesise divergent sounds and practices into a wondrous and coherent whole, her rousing articulation of music’s most sensuous modes straddles both the academic and worldly as deftly as she scales ethereal heights. An evening of boundary-blurring sound, intimate intensity, and sonic exploration you won’t want to miss.
🧡 10 APR | Three Voices Session (M/House of Jazz)
This evening will be dedicated to the future of Latvian vocal music, bringing together three bright, diverse and promising artists on one stage – Gerda Timrota, JULIANNA and Marija Valmiera, who will be accompanied by a band led by musician Toms Poišs.
🧡 11 APR | Nubya Garcia (Palladium Riga)
Headliner for Spring Edition, Nubya Garcia, April 11 at Palladium Riga: The rising global jazz star and Mercury Prize-nominated saxophonist will headline the Spring Session. Garcia's versatile sound blends jazz, classical, dub, R&B, and broken beat.
🧡 12 APR | Intars Busulis Lush Life Quintet (Dailes Music House)
Inspired by the centenary of jazz legend John Coltrane, the closing concert of the Pink Noise Riga Spring Edition is dedicated to one of instrumental music’s most enduring forms – the dialogue between tenor saxophone and voice.
