This canyoneering event is organized by friends, for friends, and your active participation is key! This includes contributing food for the potluck, helping clean the campsite, and mingling with others. If you’re not interested in adding to the experience, there may be other events better suited for you. Let’s have fun together! Vegas Locals and Locos are especially encouraged to join us.
The fee for this event is solely to cover the cost of the group campsite.
This event focuses on canyoneering in areas like Red Rock, Boulder City, and near the state lines. Please note, this is not a training event. You must already be proficient in the technical aspects of canyoneering, including setting anchors and ropes, and ensuring the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you must bring all the necessary equipment for a safe descent, such as a helmet, harness, rappel device, wetsuit, and more. Canyoneering is a potentially dangerous activity when done incorrectly, so experience is a must. The canyons we’ll explore will vary in both technical and physical difficulty.
