The Pink Bra Run is a 5K Run/Walk/Ride and After-Party organized by Krewe de Pink, an all-volunteer krewe that raises funds to support breast cancer research at Tulane Cancer Center.Participants are invited to sport Pink Bras and costumes as they race/walk the historic levee route, participate in the costume bra contest, and enjoy the after party. Starting and ending in
Old Gretna, the 5K/3.1mi levee course offers beautiful scenes along the Mississippi River. All ages are welcome to register for this weekend event.
Krewe de Pink has added a Pink Bra Bike Ride to the event with a separate route beginning on the levee in Algiers Point. Details and information can be found at KrewedePink.org.
Individual (adult and youth) and Family tickets are available.
The first one hundred race finishers will receive Pink Bra Run medals and awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall female and male finishers.
The Post Race Party will feature beverages, music, dancing and a special contest for the Best Decorated Bras (21&up registered contestants.)
